GOLDEN GLOBES 2013 - The Beauty List

So we have done the dresses so lets look at the best beauty looks of last night:

Amanda Seyfried
Amandas hair and make up was just effortless. I loved the natural make up and the light brown winged out look.

Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez cracked it for me last night, the dress, the make up, the hair = perfection. Her make up was simply glowing and the smoky eye made her eyes pop! She went for vintage hollywood curls which was a popular look last night.

Megan Fox
Megan looked glowing last night. She kept her make up simple, but lets be honest she doesn't need any!

GOLDEN GLOBES 2013 - My Best Dressed List

So as I am sure you are aware, the Golden Globes took centre stage last night and The Fortune of Fashion is all over it. Here is my BEST DRESSED list:
 Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen
In my opinion Kate Hudson won my award for the best dressed of the night. Lets be honest, she always looks amazing but this McQueen dress does wonders for her incredible figure as well as being a tad daring for the star. Although this dress is in a traditional black, it is spiced up with the gold neckline and cinching belt. My only criticism is the hair, which don't get me wrong looks gorgeous but I think the dress would excel if the hair was up off the shoulders.
 Helen Mirren in Badgley Mischka
Helen was next on my list because who can look that fabulous at the age of 67?! The dress is totally on trend, similar to the McQueen Hudson was sporting but more age appropriate. Hats off to you H!
 Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad
I think JLo is always underrated, she looks incredible! If I had that figure, this is exactly what I would wear. Generally I thought last night lacked daring dresses, then JLo stepped out and just WOW!
Anne Hathaway in Chanel
Simple, Chic and Sophisticated. The three words I would use to describe this scarlet. Also, what better way to shrug of pregnancy rumours than wear a white corset!

Emily Blunt in Michael Kors
Again, Emily Blunt has been looked over in the Best Dressed lists this year but is a firm contender in mine. She just looks amazing and totally effortless... bravo Miss Blunt!

 Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen
Looking amazing in Zac Posen, Miss O can do no wrong lately. My only critism is that she has chosen a very similar style before and maybe she should mix it up a little.
 Isla Fisher in Reem Acra
Amazingly sparkly, Isla Fisher shines in this beautiful gown. The hair and make up compliment this look well too!

Jennifer Garner in Vivienne Westwood
Garner looked incredible in this sparkly gown. I was however suprised it came from no other than Vivienne Westwood as its quite understated.

 Naomi Watts in Zac Posen
ZP really did dominate the red carpet last night, and appears again on my best dressed list. This looks amazing on Naomi and just shows how showing little can actually be more.

I am currently living in University halls and at first found it hard to put together a fashionable, homely room. I think I have finally achieved this with a mix of vintage and 'shabby chic' pieces which defines my girly, fashionable and sophisticated nature. I hope this room tour in pictures helps you decorate your rooms at uni or home at a budget!

Soap and a hell of a lot of Glory - Review

Like every other girl in the country I happily recieved a LOT of Soap and Glory products this Christmas, probably down to the 3 for 2 offer in Boots. Before this year I have never tried any of their products, and I sure missed out. The brand has become one of my favourite beauty brands and these are my favourite products...
1. Foam Call Body Wash
This is a traditional body wash/shower gel but with a difference. After applying to the skin the formula foams up, ultimately creating more of the product to lather where you desire! The smell of this product is gorgeous and leaves skin feeling extra fresh for a everyday in shower soap/gel.

2. The Scrub of Your Life
A gentle scrub which leaves your skin feeling and looking soo soft. I would recommend this product for people with dry skin as it gets rid of those dead skin cells but isn't too harsh on sensitive skin.

3. Face Soap and Clarify
This is a great face wash, smelling plummy. I am always after a dewy, radiant skin and this gives the perfect base to build makeup. I use this product twice a week to get extra smooth, shiny looking skin. I particularly like the fact this product does not make your skin feel greasy like other clarifying products but instead cleans and brightens the skin.

4. Professional Pore
I suffer from quite big pores on and around my nose therefore have tried lots of products to minimise them. Along with Porefessional from Benefit, this is the best one I have come across. Unlike the Benefit product this works as a mask which washes off and the results for me are excellent! You apply this to dry skin and leave for up to 15 minutes, wash it off with warm water and there are visible results which makes putting on foundation a lot easier.

5. Sugar Crush Body Scrub
Now, this is my favourite Soap and Glory product - simply because of the smell! It has a gorgeous sweet lime smell which is just so delicious it makes you want to eat it, no kidding. This scrub is a lot harsher than the previous scrub mentioned and therefore I only use this once a week and wouldn't recommend this to be used on sensitive skin or if you suffer from any eczema as it can be quite stingy on freshly shaved or waxed skin!
